MARTIN TENNI FOLLOWS UP WITH MORE RACIST HILLBILLY COMMENTS ON MACKENZIE PROGRAM

MARTIN TENNI - (FORMER QLD MINISTER AND
RETIRED NEE'R DO WELL) HEARD TO SAY JUST BEFORE NOON FRIDAY:

Mayor Schier represents "bicyclists, greenies, and aboriginal people. Not the regular sensible people like you (John MacKenzie) and me".

Martin, time to keep your hillbilly racist trap shut.

I heard Tenni going on about how to shave costs from the latest Council budget.
I wonder what he would say about the 100's of thousand's of ratepayer $$$ needed to keep the steel jetty at Palm Cove from rusting.
You know it was Tenni that "gifted" this monstrosity to Council when he was Transport Minister in the last coalition State Government.
It serves as no benefit to 99.99% of ratepayers, just a few fishing folks.

I couldn't find a photo of Martin - just as well, he's not a pretty sight! Martin is typical of all that is wrong with Lib/Nat politics - elderly, narrow minded, ignorant and out of touch.

At every state election he trots out the same old bullshit about Labor rigging/bribing the indigenous vote in remote CYP communities - he just doesn't get it - Aboriginal people won't vote for the redneck types the LNP keeps running in Cook, and Labor has a history of being positively engaged with indigenous communities.

But don't be too tough on John MacKenzie - I'm sure he doesn't agree with most of the reactionary crap we hear on his show - he is just playing to his audience, and after all, that's his meal ticket!

Geez - just saw this. Is 'A real liberal' actually MacKenzie????

He doesn't play to his 'meal ticket' audience as all the callers who don't agree with his narrow agenda get cut off.

Interestingly calls to his show have been sharply declining and it is the same old same old's and the ones which are obviously set up calls that get to air. Prime Radio should cut their losses and reduce this show to a small clique of bloggers... interspersed with some blogged advertising.

Community radio would have more listeners.

How long before the Prime Radio accountants win out over the programmers?
