Phil was quick of the mark to attack the new home improvement venture, "Masters", in today's Cairns Post. After listing his "credentials" in this market, he ascribes his failure to secure a position by defaming this new employer with an age discrimination complaint.
The store manager is quoted as saying they have in fact hired a wide age range of employees, with the criteria being "customer focus".
A simple internet search will bring up the hundreds of bitter, angry, ignorant, scary, and dangerous comments made by Phil Crockford over the years. Easy to attribute when you have an uncommon name, Phil. Standard for employers these days.
Kudos to Masters for deciding that a scowling, angry, bitter old man would be unlikely to provide the community any level of "customer focus". Phil's a disturbed individual, fair dinkum'.
