Just a few minutes into the show, Cueball decided to comment on the financial report from the Reef Casino Trust - which reported a slight profit reduction for the quarter. MacKenzie's comment?
"We've now got all these Chinese people coming in, thank god we have. But the Chinese are known to be extremely astute when it comes to, ha ha, taking on the top casinos. . .so I hope they're all on their toes down there (at the Casino) . . because they're coming up on a tidal wave of professionals".

| PROFESSIONAL CHINESE GAMBLERS AFTER THEIR ARRIVAL INTO CAIRNS, PLOTTING THEIR STRATEGY TO CLEAN OUT OUR CASINO PLAYING PAI GOW |
There can be no better explanation for the existence of this blog that this disgusting comment about our newly minted Chinese visitors. It won't be the crime that will drive the Chinese away from Cairns, it's this sick attitude of so-called community leaders like King and MacKenzie embodied in the service standards and welcome we show these people.
Anyone that's seen the Chinese families, the young couples, or the extended families that have formed the bulk of our new visitors could hardly imagine that these are a "tidal wave of professional" gamblers here to leave our casino in financial ruins.
It should also be noted that the reef killed its first Chinese tourist yesterday. Sadly a regular event for our city, regardless of ethnicity.

McKenzie was having another go at the 'itinerant problem last night on 7 news, talking with Martin Anton the demolisher of the yacht club, whingeing about the lack of support from the govt in dealing with the problem. Treading on dangerous ground with his LNP mates isn't he?
No, the Reef (or rapids, or waterfalls - take your pick)didn't kill one of our new chinese tourists. The cowboy yobbos posing as tour operators in cairns did. And many, many before that.
You can bet (gamble wisely, dear hearts) that there will be no response from the Chinese community here to the raves of Gobshite and MacHillbilly - they are funded by the LNP at the expense of just about every other multicultural group in the town.
Same deal with Labor's Jim Turnour. Big bucks to his mates in the chinese association; a penny here, a penny there to the others.
McKenzie made a mild criticism of the slow police response to several phone calls. It was claimed that the 'hot-line' message either wasn't relayed back to Cairns from the Brisbane call centre or perhaps was not dealt with adequately in Cairns.
McKenzie is in a bit of a bind after campaigning for more police and then finding that they're not responding, at least in this case when called.
You can imagine how strong the reaction would have been if Labor was still in power.
Numbnuts King had the audacity to post all over his Facebook page pictures of himself pressing the flesh with Chinese dignitaries. Obviously the Chinese haven't read Kings comments about them being freaks and weirdos. It seems the LNP is imploding. One "resignation" and one sacking today. That pig Caltabiano pocketed a fortune for sitting on his arse doing nothing - much like Entsch, Trout, King and Kempton. What a waste of oxygen this mob are. Can anyone list 5 achievements of Entsh's? Anyone?
Where is Warren? and for that matter where is Trout? I saw Enstch handing out roses on Valentine's Day, but that is about all. In Opposition, he should be screaming for attention and stop parading around the halls of Parliament House. Trout must be out horse riding with the Chinese tourists. What a waste they all are.
WTF Shanghai, you left your passangers behind, or has your Chinese bus broken down again.
