MACKENZIE BIG STORY? WHY AREN'T WE SHOOTING THE CROCS? WORLD NEWS BIG STORY? ANOTHER YEAR OF MASSIVE CORAL BLEACHING ON GREAT BARRIER REEF!!

There's no accounting for stupid.

Lee DePaauw, a secondary school dropout in Innisfail, loaded up on grog, jumped into a river KNOWN to be inhabited by crocs. All in a desperate attempt to get his joint copped.

The young lady being wooed by this dickhead is still "standing by her man".  Two morons for the price of one.

We've now got John "Cueball" MacKenzie raising his level of screeching on the croc issue, ignoring completely that his own LNP mates could not be moved on this issue THEIR last time around.

MacKenzie continues to warble that "a croc death will spell the end of tourism in FNQ".  Absurd.

The issue that WILL spell the end of Cairns as a tourism destination continues to be the butt of ignorance and scorn whipped up by Cueball.

For a second year in a row, massive coral bleaching has been seen on wide areas of the reef, including  ALL the areas visited by tourists to Cairns.

All of this is being reported extensively in the world news media.  But we're busy being fed a daily diet of croc stupidity and reconfiguration of a CBD street.  The reconfiguration of Grafton Street as done to MacLeod Street by Mayor Val Schier is a personal issue with John MacKenzie.  He bullied Bob "Sleepy" Manning when he first took office trying to get MacLeod returned to its previous unsafe configuration.  Now he's attacking Manning on Grafton Street.

All as we sit by watching the reef, and our tourism industry, die.

John MacKenzie is a cancer on the Cairns community.  His holiday exploits in child-abuse countries are well-known.  He continues to attack the police, the ALP, and others who he is not allied while cretins like the Member for Bloggers Warren Entsch and crime family leader Michael Trout continue unchecked.

It's time for a housecleaning.

Cueball should take his Seniors Card and walk off into the sunset.

Fuck yes, a major house cleaning! Cueball needs to be bleached out of existence, although I am sure he already indulges in anal bleaching activities. Cairns is fucked because we have piss-poor Council contribution to the region. The same goes for our so-called federal and state representatives. And guess what? The fucking crocs, jellyfish, Taipans and crazy ants were here long before we were - so Cueball STF up!

As for the fucktard jumping in the water and getting bitten - so be it. He deserves it, it wasn't his backyard he was fooling around in, it belongs to the Crocs. I also hear that his 'love interest' is distancing herself from him, so I guess it is back to the single life for the young dickhead with only one usable arm to accompany him on lonely nights! Morons.

He spent the whole morning whipping up frenzied rednecks about the "crisis on our doorsteps", rubbishing environmental incentives and the only comments came from the usual suspect, LNP pollies, George Mansford and some old geezers who 'don't believe in science". His idiotic campaign against the traffic changes in Grafton St. reached a crescendo last Friday, during the council hour, which is usually dominated by the same 3 or 4 crusty old bores, who are allowed to drone on endlessly about their pet hates and to rubbish anything to do with progressive politics. So we got Bob from Mt. Sheridan having a hysterical whinge first. Not sure why, Mt. Sheridan is nowhere near the CBD and I doubt old Bob ever sets foot in the CBD. Then we got William from Brinsmead almost blowing a fuse over the issue in a a belligerent, irrational rant that made no sense whatsoever. Finally we got George the Greek, who thinks he owns the CBD and the whole world revolves around his business interests in a demented screaming march. To his credit,Schilling pretty much shrugged off al the hysterical nonsense . Hope CRC stand their ground on this issue. Terry James had previously provided a very rational explanation why this is a good move, but Mckenzie only saw an opportunity to stir up some totally unnecessary controversy instead. Who's paying him for this nonsense ?I am pretty sick of that bald scumbag trying to sabotage every progressive development we have in this city. And his rigged "opinion polls" are as pathetic as they are disgraceful. His claim that "our forefathers" had had the foresight to design wide streets is utter crap. Streets were that wide, so bullock trains and horse and buggies could turn around. You want to have high density residential living in the CBD? Then you adjust the roads accordingly. You can't cram a liveable inner city full of cars and high speed traffic lanes.Even our right wing, LNP dominated council seems positively left wing in comparison to McKenzie and his ratbag supporters.

I heard Manning trying to back out of his commitment to the Grafton St traffic changes. His explanation was that when it goes to the public vote , "Fifty, fifty would not be enough to change, even sixty forty would not be enough as it shows people are not united".What a shame that this dithering old man is running the show,no vision and no guts.

the biggest JOKE of the decade, yesterday idiot macca talking to lnp member Whitsunday re crocs, he told the member he did not want this to be a political topic, then why did he call him onto his show.
idiot thinks the croc issue and the stupid port dredging issue is going to be the deciders at the next election, there is more that people are concerned about than these.

Cairns needs to get behind the push to stop the Adani coal mine, for the the sake of 75,000 jobs dependent on the health of the GBR.

The poor soul taken by the croc can't have been a local (25 years here is a local)because as any local will tell you that since year dot swimming in the ocean near land in the wet season is courting to be eaten. Rest in peace.

I believe Mackenzie's influence is waning.

There is no leadership on the reef problems, but then we have never had any real leadership on anything.
