The Bruce Highway upgrade, the hospital, the Liz Plummer Centre. Historically the LNP fund very little, and they haven't changed this time around either.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3182703408922632531.post-77165410676193431502014-06-25T13:26:53.137+10:002014-06-25T13:26:53.137+10:00i'm really fed up with this ongoing streaming ...i'm really fed up with this ongoing streaming dispute and it needs to be fixed now so that the affected regional radio stations including 4CA can resume streaming online. i've written to 2GB's Ray Hadley Morning Program (relayed via 4GR in my local area) and 2SM's Talk Tonight program (again relayed via 4WK in my local area) about this streaming dispute. 2SM's Talk Tonight presenter sent me a reply but that email wasn't read on air and Ray Hadley had a brief mention of my email on-air during his 2GB morning program on the 3rd June just after 9:30am acknowledging this streaming dispute being unsatisfactory again the email wasn't read on-air.

I strongly urge you all reading this article or comment to contact your local MP to express your concerns about this streaming dispute or there is a couple of online petitions regarding online broadcasting including one from Canberra MP Gai Brodtmann, I strongly urge you all reading this article if you want to see a return to online streaming to regional radio stations including 4CA/Zinc 102.7/Sea FM/Hot FM Cairns then please sign both of these online petitions:
http://www.gaibrodtmann.com.au/online_broadcasting_petition
http://www.change.org/en-AU/petitions/malcolm-turnbull-end-the-online-streaming-farce

Thank you.Jayme Dorannoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3182703408922632531.post-66029875176736566992014-06-21T09:18:57.891+10:002014-06-21T09:18:57.891+10:00I doubt it matters much to most people in the Leic...I doubt it matters much to most people in the Leichhardt Electorate anyway. It is so bloody easy to set up you...Geez Hillbilly

It is so bloody easy to set up your own audio stream - there are thousands of programs to do it. While out of the area for a while I plugged an FM radio card in my PC in Cairns and used Skype and Win VNC to remotely access my Cairns PC (WinVNC so I could remotely change the channels).

OK, 4CA is caveman AM so just plug a radio into the PC audio input and no other program but Skype is required.

PS. I am not an Entsch apologist - just a person with average IT skills.

PPS. Why has nobody commented on Lard-Gut-Entsch and Wunderkid-King opening the Cairns Bruce Highway upgrade...the bloody LNP opposed it...remember the outrageous statements - 380 houses to be bulldozed?

PPS. Surely Lard-Gut did not walk all the way up the pedestrian bridge for his media opportunity - they would have needed a resuscitation team - did Main Roads lift him into position with a crane at taxpayer expense? If so is there a sag in the bridge where he was standing?Second Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
